The home was clean upon arrival and everything worked throughout our stay. The kitchen is well stocked with everything we needed for 13 people. The poolside bathroom was a great convenience. The beds are all comfortable.
This is a quaint old fashioned beach house that felt like it was half antique store, which we thoroughly loved.

Lot of improvements this year...from new kitchen appliances to repair work on decks. The kitchen is well stocked and the pool area is great! So nice to come back from the beach, rinse off and take a dip in the pool. The kids loved it...and so did we!

Even though this is an older home, it is in a wonderful location. The property was clean and had everything that we needed. The pool was absolutely wonderful and this part of the beach was not crowded. Will definitely rent again!

Great house and location. Tropical storm did some minor damage to screened porch (several screens torn and siding blown loose) but otherwise no issues.

Beach Realty was extremely helpful with assisting us in finding a beachfront property. The house was affordable for the week of spring break. The outdoor showers and bathroom were the highlight of the week (not to mention the weather was perfect). Saw a couple of waterbugs (to be expected) but dealt with it. Our stay was easy and location was great!

We were delighted with both Beach Rental's Staff and Panacea for our family vacation. We found the home clean and bright. The new swimming pool was a special treat and we loved having the showers and extra bathroom downstairs so conveniently located to both beach and pool. Having the screened in porch with picnic table was fabulous for our grandchildren to play and eat. We loved the large deck and all the rocking chairs and lounge chair both on the deck and around the pool. We certainly would look forward to coming back in the future.

We had a large family group that stayed in Panacea for a week in June. The kitchen was more than adequately supplied. Having the extra fridge downstairs was great! The furniture was comfortable and there was enough seating for all, although I don't think we were ever all in the same place at the same time. The large screen porch was very nice. The best part, and I think we all agreed, was the pool area. The pool itself was nice but the swings, rockers, table and chairs under the screen porch and deck were THE BEST! It was always cool, you could always find shade and almost always a nice breeze. I think we all used the outside showers more than the inside and having a toilet near the pool was so nice. The negatives, and there aren't many:
The horseshoe pit, was overgrown and unusable:(
Downstairs bedroom got really, really cold when the upstairs was comfortable. I didn't stay down there but maybe the vents could have been adjusted. Not sure.
Overall it was great, we would stay there again!!

This is our second year renting the Panacea. We had a great time. The pool and pool deck are very nice and the beach is very private considering the busy area. The house is very functional for our family. We hope to return next year!

We have been renting the Panacea for over 10 years. We love the olit’s location and the old style charm. Through the years we watched it become surrounded by larger more modern vacation rentals but due to the # of bed space that we need there are no thoughts of switching properties. Love the Panacea!

Our family thoroughly enjoyed this home - it had the retro feel of an old-time beach house, yet still offered all of the conveniences to make you feel comfortable during your stay. The pool and deck were major pluses, with easy access to and from the beach. Definitely recommend!
