Footprints in the Sand was a great beach home choice for our large group of family and friends. Excellent location! Beautiful home!
The number of bedrooms with private bathrooms was excellent. The pool (+ kiddie pool!)/hot tub/bar area was great for everyone to hang out, play cornhole and have fun.
The oceanfront location had great beach access.
The socializing areas and eating areas downstairs were very accommodating for our large crowd and mixed age group. The area upstairs worked out really well for people to get in a poker game and a couple of rounds of pool! The large tv and mini fridge upstairs were also used.
We called the office about a couple of maintenance concerns and someone was in our home within the hour to address them. He was very professional and a super nice guy!
Our interactions with the office staff prior to arrival, at check-in, during our stay and at checkout was pleasant and smooth. Everyone was friendly, courteous and helpful!
My one suggestion would be for not only this beach home but for other beach home rentals that we have rented. The pool area bathrooms seems to be a side note. It would be nice to see the pool bathroom and shower area be given a little update and love so it would feel more welcoming to the kiddos and adults that would like to use it when we are spending so much time in the pool/bar area.
I would highly recommend this home and we plan to return next year!

This was our second time staying at Footprints in the Sand. The inside of the house is beautifully decorated, spacious, and had everything the 15 of us needed for the week. We have stayed in a few other houses over the years but no place can beat the spacious deck, pool, and hot tub. The adults and teenagers enjoyed the week. The kids got plenty of use out of the pool table as well. Perfect place to stay��

We loved the home and its location. The kitchen needs a lot of tlc. Both dishwashers leak . Stove has non working burner. Handle on stove came off. Sink leaks. Lower queen room shower holds water.pool table felt ripped. Draperies coming off rods.swing on porch has rusted chain about to break. No pot holders in kitchen

We have stayed at the House for the past 3 years. It is a great home and I will say the staff was excellent. They responded to every request we made quickly. The location is great with something for every age. We went to Brookgreen Gardens, Atalaya, Water Park, Miniature golf, Horse Back riding on the beach, shopping and the Pavillion. All in all a wonderful week of fun and family togetherness.

We typically travel to the coast for Thanksgiving week with immediate and other close families! This home is a great memory making property with lots of space, activities and rooms for people to enjoy each other. Perfect for larger families as well as families traveling together! 1st time we used Beach Reality Rental and definitely wont be the last. Already booked through them for next year. They are so easy to deal with. On top of every detail. Cleanest house we ever stayed in. We’ve been staying in Surfside/garden city for 6 years now and this was the best experience to date. Nicest house we’ve stayed in. Every room is so big, game room is awesome. beautiful pool area, pool side bar awesome, perhaps the best feature is the poolside restroom. This saves so many trips in and out of the house, keeps sand and dirt to a minimum in the house. Definitely recommend Beach Realty Rental. 5 out of 5 stars

What a beautiful and spacious beach house. More than enough room for our group of 14 with plenty to do both in and outside the home. The pool and hot tub were great and the private beach walkway was so convenient! I can't say enough about this home, it's the perfect house for any family or group gathering and the homeowners were very nice and helpful through out the rental experience. I'd highly recommend this home over any others I've seen in the area. What a blast and we hope to rent it again in the future!

The house is definitely gorgeous, beyond what we expected. Very clean and spacious. The location is secluded enough to not get the crowd from farther north, but not too far from restaurants and activities at Murrell's Inlet or Myrtle Beach. Everyone we dealt with was very kind, the owners even called to make sure everything was good. We had a great experience and would definitely recommend!

Perfect arrangement for 6 couples on a spring golf trip. Location was terrific. The house was just the right size, and had everything we needed. The weather didn't cooperate, so no beach time. But the hot tub was perfect after a day of golf. There were a couple of minor issues with appliances, but we will definitely try to stay at Footprints "IN" again.

9 of us came down from Michigan for our annual week long golf trip. What an amazing home. This property has it all and much more. The views of the ocean from the back decks are amazing. The kitchen had every utensil and pot and pan that you could think of. We were provided enough towels and linens for 20 people let alone 9. The home sits on a quiet street with minimal traffic. Every course we played on the south end was within 20 to 25 minutes. Restaurants, grocery stores, pharmacies are all within an easy 5 minute drive. The home is in a absolute PERFECT LOCATION.
We've already decided that we would like to come back to Footprints for our November 2016 golf trip. Thank you to the owners Janet and Bob for renting out this beautiful home.

This home is wonderful. The kitchen is equipped with anything you can imagine. The two refrigerators are handy. The view is beautiful. There were minor hiccups we encountered that did not taint our vacation.

We had a relaxing vacation with our friends and family at this beautiful beach home! The house was immaculate and the kitchen was stocked with everything you need and more. The kids enjoyed their time together in the huge upstairs game room playing pool, games, watching the big screen TV, and just hanging out. The rest of us sat on the porch and rocked in the rocking chairs and listened to the relaxing sound of the ocean waves. Wow! Can't wait until we can come back here again!!

13 adults, 7 children! Just as advertised. Place is spacious and bright. Clean and well maintained. I believe we saw the pool "boy" three times during our week. Great week, quiet street, beach was NOT crowded, weather was perfect. So much to do nearby. My husband and I relaxed, with only one fishing excursion out of Crazy Sister Marina. Others in our group did family outings during the week with their children/grandchildren. Loved this place, week went by too fast.

We had a wonderful vacation and the home was beautiful. We had lots of room for all 23 adults and kids. The views from the home and convenience to the beach were great. Any issues we had during the week were addressed by management quickly.

My family has been coming to Garden City for over 20 years and "Footprints in the Sand" was by far the best house we have stayed at. The house is beautifully decorated and, especially to me, the kitchen has every utensil and appliance you could need. The pool was perfect for little ones and the porch great for hanging out and admiring the view. Plenty of chairs, rockers and even a swing on the porch. The management was wonderful to deal with and responded immediately when we had an empty tank for the grill. We will definitely be back next year! A great property.

Not only was our house beautiful, clean, and virtually problem free, the few issues we ran into were addressed immediately! This was an amazing experience for our families!

Two weeks after returning from our beach vacation, we decided to reserve the same property for next year, only to be told that it was already rented for next year, and if we had wanted it, we had only 48 hours to reserve the property after our week was up. This was the first time anyone told us of this rule. This seemed a very unfriendly way to go about this.

The weather was NOT great for our softball tournament, BUT the house was beyond all expectations!! The NCAA basketball tournament was on and everyone could watch what he or she wanted, but the great room held a 'large group. The kitchen was supplied with everything we could want cooking for a large group. Nobody wanted to leave!!! Thank you!

The house has a ton of space and plenty of room for a large family to spread out. We loved the pool, kids pool, and hot tub along with only being steps away from the beach. Couldn't have asked for much more. Only thing we felt was missing was bathroom down by the pool!
