This was our second straight stay at La Esmeralda. We love it’s comfort and convenience. It’s well outfitted with plenty of space for our 7 guests who are all young adults who played corn hole on the spacious pool decking. They just wished the pool was larger. It’s well maintained. I love the benches built in on the beach access walkway!

The pictures of this home are spot on. The leather couch was a favorite napping spot, and the deck was comfortable. Due to our cool, wet week, we heated the pool, and it was well worth it. The beds were comfortable and don't forget to purchase the Linen Package or you won't have any sheets or towels. Our little pup enjoyed the home and there was a grassy area for her to enjoy.

Everything about this house was amazing! In 2021 we began searching for a house that would not only accommodate our family for our vacation week in Surfside, but would also be the perfect house to host our wedding reception following our small intimate sunset ceremony on the beach. I am so glad that we picked La Esmeralda! Not only is it beautiful and spacious, but it is located within 4 mins walking distance of the Holiday Inn at Surfside where our out-of-town guests stayed; and had a spacious patio to accommodate a beautiful reception setup with tables and seating. The master suite was absolutely the perfect space and size for makeup and hair to be done. All around, La Esmeralda is simply amazing and memories were made that will last a lifetime. We will definitely be staying there again!

La Esmerelda is a beautiful home with an outstanding kitchen and the best bathroom/showers of any home we've ever stayed in. The furnishings are lovely and the outdoor space is fantastic. When we weren't on the beach, we spent most of our time on the porch and around the pool area. The beautiful oceanfront location is wonderful and the heated pool was very nice.

We really enjoyed staying at this house and it was so close to the beach! Very convenient. The only problem we had is the jets did not function on the bath tub in master and the wifi did not work in the master. Other than this, we loved this house!

We absolutely loved our stay at La Esmerelda. The house was beautiful and the furnishings were so welcoming. The kitchen was well stocked and renting linens made the whole process easy. We loved the view, the pool and the private entrance to the beach. We made priceless memories and spent quality time together. We would absolutely return!!

We loved this home. It was the perfect place to enjoy our spring break with our children, some of their friends and our dog. The heated pool was a perfect addition to our trip especially since it was a little cooler during our stay in late March. We had a couple maintenance issues that were corrected very quickly. We were disappointed to find out the jetted tub in the master bedroom was not in working order. Since the owner of the home does not plan to get this fixed, it should be stated in the description of the home that the tub does not work. Even though this was upsetting, we would 100% stay in this home again because the tub not working was a minor issue. Overall we were all so happy and had the perfect vacation.

Despite Hurricane Irma stealing a few days from us we had a wonderful time. There was plenty of space in the house for all of us to feel comfortable. Being able to bring our family dog along was a major plus. The kitchen had more equipment, dishes, bakeware and flatware than expected so the next time we will definitely pack less! There were the most amazing sunrises to be viewed from the master bedroom balcony. The jacuzzi was a great way to end the day! We will absolutely look to rent this property again in the future.

This was our 2nd year at this location. Property was clean and in great condition with a few exceptions. Slightly outdated but comfortable. Beds were comfortable and all appliances worked. Unit was well provisioned. The only issue again this year was the height of the bushes. A beautiful view of the beach and ocean is blocked from the main deck. These should be cut down and kept trimmed.
Beach Realty was professional and great to deal with. Quick and efficient on every call. We enjoyed this location so much we have booked again for next year.

The house was very clean. The furniture was comfortable. The beds were very comfortable. The house Could use more kitchen utensils and the refrigerator was a little small based on the size of the house. It would also be helpful if they had an ice maker. The staff at Beach Realty is so helpful, i would not rent from anyone else!

Wonderful house but need a few updates. Burners on stove need replacing along with kitchen sink Toilet in bathroom attached to queen room ran every 20 minutes. Some shower liners need replacing. We purchased a broom and some ant traps for the kitchen and got roach spray for the deck. I didn't like sitting on the deck at night with palmetto bugs coming up from under the deck. Overall all we all had fun and if ever we need a house with 5 bedrooms I would stay again.

Loved the house but the bushes are so overgrown that the view to the beach is comprimised. After I reported this, some of the upper sections of "growth" was trimmer, but to make this a really good view from the porch, you have to eliminate the very large bushes. If this is done I would recommend this property. I thought the staff at Beach Realty was very responsive to my request.

Place was great. The outside stairs (round staircase on balcony) are in need of repair. The metal is loose and could cause serious injury if it gives way. Im sure this is just due to the salt air exposure over time.

I booked this cottage not sure of it's location or condition, but my husband and I, and 3 other couples had a great time there. The pool was nice and the cottage is located right on the oceanfront. We were very pleased with everything. We would definitely go back again.

This house is great for family vacations! We have already booked for next year. The layout of the house is wonderful for giving everyone privacy along with a large family room and kitchen to gather. Each bedroom having a private bath is a big plus. The view is beautiful. We enjoyed the private pool and the easy access to the beach. There were some maintenance issues that are normal for maintaining a rental home. We reported these and have confidence that they will be addressed.

great accomidations for our family needs.
location was great. rental needed some upgrading. carpeting ,washer and dryer. kitchen items need to be reviewed could use more equipment for large crowd . in all a 4 star rating.

For a group of 13 people this was a great set-up. The weather didn't cooperate the first couple days of our trip, thank goodness the house was bright, roomy, and allowed everyone to have quality time either alone or together. Walk out to the beach was great for everyone. kitchen and open floor plan was inviting.

I am a local and rented this wonderfull house for my family and myself to enjoy for a week ,it was perfect we had a truly nice time would love to rent this home again . I feel so blessed to have shared this home with my lovedones. Desiree pray i spelled her name right she was so sweet and very helful .

We totally enjoyed the house, it was freshly painted and beautifully decorated. A few upgrades in the kitchen should be addressed, stained sink and range covers. We will rent the house again next year.
