We totally enjoyed Fins Up and the beach in front, along with the pool. This place is very convenient if you have young children. It is easy to watch children at the pool and still enjoy the scenery.

We stayed in Fins Up for the 2nd year in May 2023. Overall, the vacation was lovely. The house provides ample room for our group. We never feel we are on top of one another. The views are wonderful as well. Two oceanfront balconies with unobstructed views of the beach and water.

There were a few issues with our visit this time that I will describe, but none would keep us from returning. They are just things that need to be addressed to keep folks coming back. I will list the cons first.

The refrigerator had a shelf missing interiorly and in the door. We had to create a makeshift shelf with baking sheets. It limited our space and we had multiple families' groceries to store. The landscaping needed tending to. The tree beside the walkway was growing halfway into the walkway so traipsing to the beach was a little challenging. We rented sheets and received the wrong size sheets for one bedroom and it took 3 days to get new ones delivered. (The rental company was very professional and apologetic, so we were not neglected.) There are water leak stains in various spots in the house. The pans in the lazy susan were still dirty when we arrived, so we had to re-wash several things. The outdoor furniture, while functional, needs replaced. All of these things are minor in the grand scheme, but frustrating at the same time.

On the positive side, the office staff at the rental company is wonderful. So accommodating and friendly. We love renting through Beach Realty. The location of the house is great -- close to Murrell's Inlet, Pawley's Island, and Myrtle Beach area. There are tons of restaurants and activities to do in the area. The view, as stated before, is unmatched. Gorgeous. The layout of the house is great. Parking is fine, but beware of parking near the sidewalk - they ticket! The pool area is big, a very nice way to relax in the evenings. House layout is great and size is nice. We have had 2 lovely vacations at Fins Up!<

The whole family loves this place. It's private, provides a pool just for us and a beautiful deck where you can eat dinner or play games. The kitchen and living area are large enough for all of us.

This property is in a great location and we had an awesome time staying here. We walked down to the pier area and had dinner a couple nights. We loved the walkway to the beach and also spent time enjoying the pool. The staff at Beach Realty were very friendly when we arrived to get our keys. Will definitely be staying again at this property.

We absolutely love this house and it’s location. This is the second time my family (kids, spouces and grandkids) have stayed here and we have made some wonderful memories. Being able to make use of the pool or use the private walkway to the beach is a real blessing. You definitely wouldn’t be disappointed. The staff is professional yet friendly and goes out of there way to accommodate all requests.

What a great experience we had at Fins Up over the Labor Day Holiday ! The room was ready before the designated check in time ! The Upper deck made the sunsets and sunrises spectacular ! The lower deck provided spacious room for breakfast lunch and dinner and shelter from the 2 hour rain storm we had . We loved everything about this property not to mention the ease of check in and out. Beach Realty is top notch compared to our other experiences we have encountered. We plan on renting this property again in the future ! Thanks for a great week !

This rental is amazing. Plenty of space for a family to enjoy together or in their own private area. The two balconies make enjoying the view so convenient.The pool is large enough to swim in, and the privacy allows even the younger kids to enjoy it. Our family has been there twice and wants to stay there every year.

This is the second time we have rented Fins Up and we love staying there. Especially love the huge ocean front porch and comparing the clarity of our lovely blue pool with a couple we could see from our second floor porch, showed ours to be superior. I have only one negative comment and that is that the kitchen needs reorganized. The largest storage cupboard was filled with extra appliances (3 toasters, 2 blenders, 2 coffee pots) and there were 5 drawers of spatulas, tongs, etc. so there was no where to put dish towels, etc. The serving dishes were on the highest shelves and were impossible to reach even if you were over 6 ft.

Even though there was some painting going on outside of the house, the inside was gorgeous and very well decorated. The beds were really comfortable, in fact, I wrote down what kind of mattresses they were so I can buy one for myself. We had an absolutely awesome week.

This house was perfect for our family vacation! We loved being on the beach and having our private pool. The home was very clean and comfortable. Our only complaint was the surface of the pool deck. It was very uncomfortable to walk on and you could not escape the sand. We will definitely rent this home again and highly recommend to anyone searching for the perfect beach house. This is it!

Four couples stayed at Fins Up for a week in September. The men wanted to golf and the ladies wanted to relax. This home worked out perfectly for us. The guys were close to lots of golfing and played six courses while we were there. The ladies enjoyed the beach, some shopping and a boat tour. The house itself was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed to feel at home. The kitchen was well stocked and we used it for breakfast and lunch. We ate dinner out every night and there was lots to choose from nearby or a short drive on up to Myrtle Beach. I loved that we were right on the beach and could see the sun rise and hear the sound of the waves from our back porch.

Vacation was good. House was good - only comments being - need to upgrade the Internet access. With lots of kids at the house all jumping on line at some point the current set up at the house couldn't keep up. Might be time to replace living room couches as the get a lot of use. Everything else was great as usual. Beach Realty customer service gets an A+.

Our experience dealing with beach reality was fabulous. We planned our entire trip through Kevin who was great to deal with. He was so helpful and accommodating which made our trip run so easily. The house "Fins Up" was terrific. The location was perfect. The house itself was beautiful. It's was everything we needed and more. It was clean... had everything we needed to cook.... great view of the ocean... the pool was fabulous. We absolutely loved it. We have stayed in other homes in the same area before and by far this home surpassed them. Great experience.... we look forward to dealing with beach reality again next year!

the house was perfect. First time we stayed on the beach and it was wonderful. Loved our house, the weather was perfect. The wash machine broke and people came out and fixed it the same day and this was on a Sunday. Will be back.

This is our third year staying at Fins Up and as in previous years...the beach house was fantastic. The property has been well maintained and taken care of. Beach Reality provided excellent service from beginning to end. Having this lovely beach house as home base on our vacation was top notch. We hope to return. Thank you!

this house was much nicer then the pictures portrayed
it was huge, had enough room to sleep 16 people and with 5 bathrooms, there was never anyone waiting. the deck and back yard were beautiful and the POOL was fantastic! house was immaculate!
we would stay there again

We absolutely loved this house. Wish we could have stayed longer. Vacations always go to fast. Had problem one day with rain/wind storm. Water soaked two bedroom floors, company sent clean up crew and was taken care of right away. Beautiful house~

Fins Up was an awesome beach house. We normally stay in a condo in the same area but after staying in Fins Up I don't think I can go back to a condo again. The house was clean, decore was so cute and had nice updated appliances.

best vac in a long time. Kiki was wonderful to work with and the most helpful vac mgr I have ever worked with!

Love the house! Our family had a great time!

Overall, the house was excellent, and having the pool with direct access to the beach made the stay better. There were just a few minor issues, but nothing that caused any problems or inconveniences with our stay.

It would have been nice if the Gas Grill was included in the overall price, the stove did not seem to work properly, seemed to take alot more time to cook things, and the back sliding door did not lock, even after being fixed the first night we arrived at the house. I was impressed with the immediate action when I did call about the door not locking, and someone arrived within 1 hour. I know most places charge extra for linens, but this just does not seem fair, and would rather see this included in the overall price of the unit. It would have been very difficult to bring the necessary linens for the house. It is hard to say if the value was right as we have never stayed in a house in Myrtle Beach before, but having 13 people with each having their own separate bedroom, and bath was great. It was also nice having the washer and dryer to keep up with the clothes, and towels for the week.

stayed at mystical dunes for a one week honeymoon. had always vacationed in florida but wanted to check out the carolina coast. we live in indiana so we could only review property through online pictures so we were crossing our fingers. House, location and rental staff totally exceeded our expectations. already planning on coming back with the whole family!

this home was far above our expectations! we traveled with both sets of grandparents and our immediate family. my father-in-law was recently diagnosed with cancer and the place was just what he needed. he sat by the pool in the shade, headed to the beach, or sat on the covered beachside deck. the living area was open to the kitchen and gave everyone space to play games or watch movies. each family had their own bedroom and bath for privacy. surfside is a great family oriented beach. the home was an easy walk to the pier with restaurants and ice cream available. the beachside realty staff was helpful and the home was immaculate. thanks for a great vacation!!!!! so much fun... a guest from Hixson, TN

The location of the house is awesome!!! The house is comfortable and safe. The pool was perfect for swims after time in the ocean. We would definitely recommend this house to others.

My family stayed in Mystical Dunes and loved it. We had the pool heated because we weren't sure how the weather would be and it was well worth it. The only complaint is that most of the windows wouldn't open or stay open. It would have been nice if they did. We are already planning our 2013 vacation. The location isn't really in walking distance of things but right up the road is hwy 17 which is the main road to everything. We had a great time.
