Something I always dreamed about doing with my family and the Pelham House was so perfect, we're looking forward to making it our annual vacation trip.

The view is awesome. The house is exactly like the pictures and the location to the beach is incredible! I couldn't figure out how to lock the sliding glass doors from the inside and when we finally did, it took 2 people to get it locked.

Beach Realty (Karen) was very nice and helpful from start to finish. I would recommend this to all my family and friends.

We stayed at Dolphins Den for our 2019 Spring Break. 3 families, 6 adults and 6 children ages 5-14. It was everything it was said to be! The house was spotless when we got there and smelled like a new home due to the brand new carpeting. There were plenty of rooms for everyone to have their own space and the kitchen/dinning room was large enough for all of us to sit down together for meals. The kitchen has everything you would need in a kitchen and the 2nd refrigerator was so handy! Having the beach just over the private walkway was convenient to run back in forth! We would certainly rent this home again!

This is our second year at this house. We love it. Plenty of room, Great kitchen with new farm sink that we all loved. Plenty of outdoor furniture. Pool was cleaned several times during our stay. 3 refrigerators that we all loved. Will be going back next year. We love this house!

We love this house and have stayed there for three years and will be staying next summer. There is plenty of room, beds, bathrooms. The kitchen is fairly well equipped and the extra refrigerator is great for a large party. The pool is always clean and the beach is close. Any problems we have had were quickly addressed y Beach Realty Rentals.

Overall we had a very nice time - pool is nice, proximity to ocean is great. We would say the house needs a bit of updating however. Back door was in terrible shape where we couldn't even lock it. Upstairs is all carpet w/old school bedspreads that could stand to be replaced (we did not use). It's also located right beside Holiday Inn so you do get a bit of that beach traffic if that's a concern.

THE VIEW- AMAZING!! Picture perfect! I spent every morning drinking coffee and watching the ocean waves- only a few feet to the beach. Beach spot wasn't too crowded, there was a public beach access next to the house, but was never really crowded while we there. Loved having a little tidal pool for the little ones to play in. Loved having 2 outdoor shower options with good water pressure and hoses- washed off the sand with no problems. Pool was just the right size to take a nice dip in the evenings! Kids loved it!The house was exactly as pictured! I didn't find it too dated, very comfortable. The beds were so, so- they do need some better bedspreads for sure! The back door was tricky, but workers came by to measure for a new one. TVs were small and didn't work half the time, time to upgrade the small ones in the bedrooms, make them smart tvs! Loved having 2 refrigerators! Maybe add a gas grill?? That would be nice- keep the charcoal as well- but takes a long time to cook for 16 people as it was pretty small. Would definitely return!!! We had a Great time being together and made wonderful memories!

My family had a great time!!! The house was great and the views were amazing. The kitchen was fully stocked with enough dishes and cookware to accommodate a large family. My only complaint was that the beds were not made with the linens and after traveling 12 hours to get there and having to make the beds was a little disappointing. We would definitely recommend this house and stay again

Everything was as we expected it to be.
The themostat does need to be replaced, as it does not indicate proper temperature. When proper temperature is reched the thermostat shuts off the heating unit, but turns on the emergency heat.
Besides that everything was good.
We are definately going back next winter.

We have rented MANY vacation homes and my family has told me this is one of their favorites! Very comfortable and allows for a lot of family time. Bedrooms were great, kitchen was bigger than we thought, and we don't know how we would have done without the 2nd refrigerator! Pool, beach and location were amazing. My grandson's favorite place was the benches on the walkway going to the beach. Minor issue one day with sewer smell from downstairs bathroom, but does not deter from the positives from this home. We are thinking of two weeks next year at Dolphins Den...one week isn't enough! Everything went exactly as Nicole said and arrival and departure went perfectly. You won't regret it!

The combination of the view, the direct beach access, and the pool were perfect. The location was extremely central and a destination for others and we were in the heart of it.

We had a great stay at the Dolphins Den. The private pool is absolutely fabulous. The place is very spacious and having 2 refrigerators was an added bonus. The beach was very nice and not crowded at all. The only negatives were that the bed in the master BR needs updated and the fitted sheets did not fit the king sized bed. Also, some of the other bathroom room showers had poor water pressure.

This was a friends and family getaway during 4th of July week. Everything we needed was right there, steps from the beach and our own pool made it easy to enjoy our stay. There were plenty of fireworks on the beach all week so we did not have to leave to watch them anywhere else.

We went to the beach with three families and had a wonderful stay at this house. The rooms were big and spacious and the layout was good for families with kids. The pool was very clean and was a great alternative to the beach for the kids. The only problem we had was the air conditioner was very hard to regulate. Either too cold or too warm. The temperature gage on the thermostat did not work. Would stay here again.

Very well stocked home with everything you need. Only wish the beds were more comfortable and maybe it had an additional refridgerator for everyone's beverages. There were 12 of us---6 adults and 6 kids, so the fridge was always packed.

This is a beautiful home very clean and spotless. We stayed for a week and would love to have stayed longer. The pictures on the internet do not do this house justice it is a huge house very comfortable with great views.

Everything about Dolphin's Den was wonderful except the dryer in the laundry area. The knobs were off and we had a difficult time turning it on/off. The carpet in the upstairs master bedroom had a stain at the entrance. However, the view from that room is amazing. The home's location is great. Would definitely stay there again.

First year at Dolphins Den, 3rd year renting a house at Surfside...We couldn't have been happier. At first we were weary of being at the very end of Ocean Dr & so close to Holiday Inn, but actually it was better....less traffic and no spillover from hotel on beach. Loved the seats on the boardwalk to the beach. Rooms were spacious & furniture not too big as to take up space. Lots of extras too, like child's booster seat & abundance of kitchenware. We loved the pavers around the pool deck - much easier keeping the pool clean! We can't say enough great things!

Everybody in are family had a wonderful time I only seen a few things you may want to look at. 1.The stove burners are not all working properly. 2.The refrigerator seems to be collecting water on the very bottom i did mention this to a guy who came by
during our stay. 3.The bed mattress are a little rough.Springy

The place was perfect , the beach was beautiful. I would not rent during peak season due to the Holiday Inn. Too many people to share the beach with. Overall Great Time.

We were happy with the physical arrangement of the house for our family. The bathroom downstairs seems to emit sewage gases. Some traps seem to be missing. The worst part of the stay was fireworks every night from 9:00 to 11:00. With babies, that was a nightmare and we called the police four times. It is unfortunate that SC has a year-round firework policy. This was our first time staying in the state.

We had a great stay at this home. It is very nice, and was very clean inside. Th sonly problem was that the water heater had been shut off before we arrived so the kids had cold showers before they came to fix it (the evening of the day we checked in). The location is great, right on the beach. Would definitely like to stay here again.

We loved our stay at dolphins den! It was great to be right at the end of 16th Ave and not in the middle of everything. Surfside is a beautiful area with a lot of things to do but not as busy as myrtle and north myrtle. The home was beautiful and clean! However, you have to bring ALL of your own stuff from toilet paper to trash bags. There were 2 refrigerators which was nice. The view from the deck and living room was amazing!!! We will definitely be returning to dolphins den in the future!!
