  We had a group of 12 people who stayed in Southern Exposure and we absolurely loved the house. There is even an elevator that made the life of my 84 year old father-in-law much easier and it also made getting luggage upstairs a breeze. The location is
  safe and convenient to whatever you could ever want to do in the area and we especially enjoyed the pool with it's nice big deck and colored lights at night. My only complaint would be the mattresses. They were much more than just a little uncomfortable and
  should be replaced immediately. Thanks for a great week at MB!

  Our group stayed at Southern Exposure two years in a row and we loved it! The location is awesome and the house is beautiful. From the time we left last year until the time we returned this year, the new owners did a lot of work. We absolutely loved it!!!
  The rooms are very spacious and there was lots of room to spread out and enjoy our vacation. This was our third year in a row to go to Myrtle Beach as a group, the second year in this house. Next year we will probably not stay in the same house because our
  group keeps expanding due to the extraordinary time we have each year that others want to join us, so we will probably have to find something even bigger than this already large home, but without a doubt, we will rent through Beach Realty....they were totally
  awesome!!!! The staff was friendly and very accommodating! We can't want till next year!!! See you then...

  Kitchen/dining/den was perfect for our family meals, conversations and games. Sunny pool location made the water warm for early-year timing. Loved the secluded beach and proximity to shopping/restaurants. Excellent service from the rental agency and on a minor repair. A little work needed on the front yard was a very minor blemish.

  my family has been traveling to the myrtle beach area for the last 36 years. we always stay away from the busy area and usually are in garden city. we only stay in ocean front homes with 5-8 bedrooms depending on how many of us are going. over the years we have become very picky about our house choice. we have rented from all of the major rental companies. my family loves sams corner and the memories we have shared in that area made it a hard decision to go with a house in long bay estates. everyone was pleasantly surpised with how much we loved long bay estates! this one mile stretch of private beach made us feel like we had the area all to ourselves kind of like the old days of garden city. southern exposure was in general like the houses we are use to staying in. over the years we have found that some property owners will have an amazing house but dont keep up with the regular touch ups that keep it looking like new. that was not the case with this house. it was built in 2003 and still looks brand new. the only complaint i have is that the master bedroom with king size bed really needs the mattress replaced. all of the other mattresses were fine. we found a few things in need of replacement of fixing right away. the coffee pots didnt work and the dryer seemed to not be drying clothes very well. one phone call to beach realty and we had new coffee pots and a repair man came to check the dryer and found a bird had built a nest in the outside vent so it was a quick fix. i must say that from my very first time speaking with beach realty i was impressed. i had received an email with their specials and quickly saw southern exposure had a discounted rate that i could not pass up. i called and left a message on monday morning and didnt hear back. i decided to send them a quick email as i didnt want to let this house get away and with in minutes of this email i was contacted by one of the owners(it was 730 pm) i was shocked! she said she was sorry that my call wasnt retur

  The location was great - the beach was as described - uncrowded. There was plenty of room in the house. Every call I made to the office was meet with professionalism and someone was at our place within 30 minutes. I worked with Kelly and Kiki and I am thankful for all of their assistance. We come to the Myrtle Beach Area every other year. When I am looking for a place in 2012 - I will contact Beach Realty. We probably will not stay at the same place - our family keeps expanding.
  
  Arrival
  We were allowed to acquire the house keys before the 3PM checkin - this allowed for extra time in the pool.
  
  Kitchen
  On our first day we were rewashing dishes, it seemed dirty dishes were placed back into the cupboard. The wheels on the lower rack of the dishwasher facing west were missing. One of the outlets in the kitchen did not work. We spent at least 30 minutes figuring out the coffee pot situation - there were 3 and only 1 worked, but the parts were spreaded through the kitchen.
  
  Pool Area
  There were several trip hazards around the pool area. It would have been nice to have the outdoor shower working for the whole week instead of half.
  
  Grill
  I thank Beach Realty for the complimentary rental of the gas grill. It was unfortunate that we had to call and let you know the tank was empty when we attempted to use it for a 2nd time.

  I have rented four oceanfront properties in Long Bay Estates. Two bathrooms had plumbing problems and the kitchen could be better stocked.The property manager was exceptionally helpful with getting the pool heated. This is always a problem, and this is the best response I have experienced. Thank you!
